Social media image sizes
Cropped in your browser · your image is never uploaded
Thirteen placements across seven platforms, from one upload. Drop an image in and download the whole set as a ZIP, each cropped to its exact size.
How to use the social media image sizes
The reason to do this in one pass is that the crops disagree with each other. A 9:16 story and a 1.91:1 link preview cannot both keep the edges of the same design, so the only image that survives every placement is one whose important content sits in a centred square. Check the set after exporting rather than assuming: it is common for a design that looks fine at 1200 × 630 to lose a logo entirely at 1080 × 1920. Sizes here are reviewed against the platforms’ own published specifications, but they do change, so treat a spec that looks wrong as worth verifying rather than as gospel.
Questions
Only if the important content sits in a centred square. The crops disagree too much otherwise.
No. The cropping happens in your browser and the ZIP is built there too.
They match the platforms’ published specs at the review date shown on this page. Platforms do change them.
