Builds LocalBusiness JSON-LD with a postal address and opening hours in the format schema.org expects. `Mo-Fr 09:00-17:00`, not prose.
How to use the local business schema generator
The opening hours format is the part that gets written wrong most often: it wants two-letter day abbreviations and 24-hour times, so "Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm" is not valid and will simply be ignored. Choosing a specific subtype rather than the generic LocalBusiness is worth doing where one fits; Restaurant, Store and the rest carry properties the generic type does not, and the more specific type gives a search engine more to work with. The single most important consistency rule for local businesses is that the name, address and phone here must match your Google Business Profile exactly, since mismatches undermine the entity matching that local results depend on.

Yes where one fits. Restaurant, Store and similar carry properties the generic LocalBusiness does not.
Not directly, but the name, address and phone should match it exactly. Mismatches weaken the entity matching local results rely on.
No. It makes a page eligible for a rich result, which can raise click-through rate. Google has been explicit that it is not a ranking factor in itself.
Google’s Rich Results Test reads a live URL or pasted code and tells you which rich results the page qualifies for. Do that before assuming it worked.
