Builds HowTo JSON-LD with numbered steps. Worth knowing before you invest in it: Google removed HowTo rich results from desktop and mobile in 2023.
How to use the howto schema generator
That removal is the honest headline. HowTo markup produced a rich result with numbered steps and images until Google deprecated it for all users in late 2023, so the search-result payoff is currently zero. The markup remains valid schema.org and is still consumed by other things: assistants, aggregators, and anything parsing structured data independently of Google — so it is not useless, but adding it in the expectation of a rich result would be based on out-of-date advice that is still widely repeated. If your goal is specifically a search appearance, your effort is better spent elsewhere.
